Greenhouse monitoring and automatic watering

We work as a team. We build a system for a greenhouse: sensors measure air and soil temperature and humidity, and the controller switches on watering or ventilation when readings go beyond set limits. All data is shown on charts, and alarms arrive in Telegram. We connect the pump and valves through protected relays, and the watering schedule can be changed from a phone. On-site visits: Almaty. We install and commission on the plot only in Almaty and do not work on site in other cities. Threshold setup and remote help are available across Kazakhstan.

Who it is for

For farmers, greenhouse owners and garden plot owners who want to water by readings rather than by habit, and do not want to check the greenhouse at night. It does not fit if you need automation for an industrial greenhouse with hundreds of sensors or agronomy support for the harvest: that is a different level of work.

Not included

To avoid surprises, here is what the base price does not cover and what is discussed separately:

  • The pump, valves, sensors and cables, which you buy from the shopping list
  • Agronomy support, choice of fertilisers and advice on the harvest
  • Installation and service outside Almaty: we work on site only in Almaty
  • A guarantee that watering will save the crop in any weather

FAQ

After payment you receive the rights to the firmware, schemes, threshold settings and documentation we delivered. Open libraries and components, for example Mosquitto or Grafana, stay under their own licences, and we list them. The data about your greenhouse belongs to you.

The price includes two rounds of revisions after launch: watering thresholds, switch-on duration, the schedule and alert texts. New watering zones or extra sensors are paid separately and agreed in advance.

Usually 10 to 21 working days from the moment the system set-up and the installation point are agreed. Equipment is bought separately, so we count the timing from a confirmed order for the sensors, relays and pump.

The size of the greenhouse or plot, photos from several sides, the water source and where the pump will stand. We need to know what you grow and at which hours you usually water. There should also be an internet access point on or near the plot.

The controller keeps the thresholds and schedule and resumes once power returns, but without power watering will not start. For important plots we recommend a UPS for the controller and the pump, if the load allows. We set up Telegram alerts for lost connection; in a full power cut the controller cannot send a message unless it is connected to a UPS.

The controller does not power the heavy load directly: the pump is connected through a relay rated for its current. The 220 V connection is made by an electrician. We also limit how long the pump can run, so it does not run dry or flood the soil.

Yes, through a web page or a Telegram command you can start watering by hand for a set time. Manual mode takes priority over automation, and the system tells you it is active so nothing gets mixed up. The commands are available only to you and to people you add.
