3D product models for a website

We work as a team and build a digital model of your product that can be rotated and inspected on the site or opened in AR on a phone. We start from photos from several sides, the dimensions and a description of the materials. We model in Blender, set up materials and textures, and optimise the file size so the page loads fast. You get GLB files for the website and USDZ for iPhone, plus a couple of renders for previews. The price is per model. If the product is complex or the photos are poor, the model will be approximate, and we will say so honestly before work starts.

Who it is for

For online shops, makers of furniture, tableware, appliances, souvenirs and any product a buyer wants to inspect from every side. It is not a fit if you need animated mechanisms, print-level detail or modelling with no photos or sample of the product.

Not included

To avoid surprises, here is what the base price does not cover and what is discussed separately:

  • Product photography and 3D scanning of the item: we work remotely from your photos, and scanning is agreed separately
  • Models with animated mechanisms or complex assemblies
  • Placing the models on the site and setting up the viewer: a separate job

FAQ

After payment we hand over the model files and renders, and you can use them on your site, in catalogues and in ads. If your product carries someone else's logo or branded design, you are responsible for using it, and we will flag that risk. We pass on the source Blender scene file on request.

The price includes two rounds of revisions to the model: changing proportions, colour, material or details visible in the photos. If you need extra angles or a rebuild from scratch, that is a new model and is charged separately at the per-model price.

Usually 3 to 7 working days from the moment we receive the photos and the sample. The timing depends on how complex the product is and how many angles there are, so we will name an exact date after reviewing the materials. If you need a set of several models, we agree the timing in advance.

Photos of the product from at least six angles on a neutral background in even light, dimensions in millimetres or centimetres, and a description of the materials. If there is a sample, you can send it or lend it for a while. The better the photos, the more accurate the model, so it helps to reduce glare and harsh shadows beforehand.

No, without photos or a sample we cannot reproduce the shape and colour accurately. A description alone gives only a rough model, and we will not present it as exact. If the product is not yet in production, ask the manufacturer for a drawing or photos of the prototype.

The size depends on complexity and detail, and we usually stay within a few megabytes so the page loads quickly. We agree the exact limit before we start, and if a model comes out larger we simplify the geometry and textures. We compress the files so the on-screen quality stays acceptable.

The main formats are GLB for the website and web viewing, USDZ for AR on iPhone, and PNG renders for product cards. On request we can supply OBJ or FBX for other software. We test every file in a viewer before handover, so the model does not break on your site.
