Browser extensions for Chrome and Edge

We build an extension for Chrome and Edge, which run on the same Chromium engine. We write it in JavaScript or TypeScript on Manifest V3, and add a popup, a side panel, context-menu items and saved settings. If the extension has to talk to your service, we connect the API with a protected token. We prepare the package for upload to the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons and write the store description. You create the publisher accounts and submit for review; we cannot speed up or guarantee the store review.

For teams and specialists who need a function right in the browser: sales managers, online shops, marketers, analysts and operators. It is not a fit if you need Firefox or Safari support, or if the extension must collect data from other sites without a legal basis.

Not included

To avoid surprises, here is what the base price does not cover and what is discussed separately:

  • Publishing to the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons: you create the developer accounts and submit
  • A guarantee of store approval: the review follows the platform rules, and rejection is possible
  • Firefox and Safari support, unless agreed separately
  • Bypassing website restrictions or collecting data from other resources without a legal basis

FAQ

After full payment the source code and the package are handed over to you, and the rights to the extension are yours. If the project uses third-party libraries, we list their licences at handover and check that they allow commercial use.

The price includes two rounds of revisions after the first working version: changes to the interface, texts and behaviour within the approved brief. New pages, new features and connecting new services are estimated separately.

Usually 7 to 14 working days from the moment the brief is agreed and we have access to your API, if one is needed. Store review takes its own time, which does not depend on us.

A task description with examples: which page, which element and what should happen. We need test accounts or demo pages, access to the API if the extension works with it, and the list of browsers and versions you use.

We request only the permissions and domains the task needs, because stores review extra permissions. If it works on several sites, we fix the list of domains in advance. User data is kept in the browser and not sent to third-party servers without your decision.

Browsers sometimes change extension APIs, and then a fix may be needed. We use standard APIs and test the build on current browser versions. If changes after handover require work, you can order it separately or through support.
